A career built on careful, steady dentistry
Dr. Gvozden graduated from the University of Sarajevo School of Dentistry in 1979. He then completed post-graduate surgical training in hospitals in Sarajevo and Belgrade, where his work covered trauma, infections and reconstructive and dentoalveolar surgery. That is demanding, detail-heavy work, and it shaped the patient, deliberate way he still practices.
In 1995 he moved to the United States. He has an appointment in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at OHSU in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at the OHSU School of Dentistry in Portland, and he earned his U.S. DMD degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. For more than 15 years he has cared for patients in Beaverton, Aloha, Hillsboro and the west Portland area, and he now sees adults and families at Bien Dental.
